Sydney's writing and quirkiness is one thing that I love about her. But I also love the way that she can make you feel like your a character in the book. I was shocked to find out just who Seth was, I had no clue who these characters were but when I realized how he fit in I was immediately over come with joy, because in Beth's book I loved Seth, and I am glad to see that Seth gets his Happily Ever After.

Now in saying this, MIA!!! Oh Mia, if I had to say a character I wanted to be in the Danver's series its totally MIA!!! She doesn't bite her tongue, she's sarcastic and she's quirky and she doesn't hold back. I love how she's always looking at Suzy and Gray it CRACKS me up! In saying this... This book does say NOVELLA! The length is not something I was worried about as I know what a NOVELLA is. I have seen some reviews that are just ridiculous, but as a die hard Danver's fan I suppose I don't mind paying for this book. I love Sydney's mind and the world she creates at Danver's. I thank you Sydney for even giving me this opportunity to see what's in your head, but as a fan that's been with you since you were self published I will continue to be with you until you decide to stop writing all together, and still I will recommend you.

Now that I have finished my rant, I totally loved this book and I will recommend it to others.

Here comes a another great romance from Sydney Landon. Seth and Mia are the perfect counterpoints for a short novella to hold us over until Brant and Emma's story comes out. Many people have commented that the book was too short, however I don't think this was meant to be a full story like the others. I can't wait to see if Sydney carries these characters through into the next books to finish their story.
All of her Danvers books are amazing! So I had no qualms about this one. Sydney is an amazing writer who writes scantily clad romance stories. This story tells us about Seth. He owns a chain of upper-class hotels. He once was infatuated with a prior character Suzy Denton. After she left him down for a Merrimon his company had enlisted Danvers for his company's communication system. When me from Danvers came over it was love, I like to say love at first sight. Of course there is the typical story where he likes her and then something happens and now they're not together anymore, you know the typical love story but I can say the sex scenes in this book were hot. You will not be disappointed by this book. The only thing that I wish I had more of was the book itself. The book was kind of short to me. It was a very quick read. But the content of the book made it worth it I hope you enjoy!
I just finished reading “Betting on You” by the amazing Sydney Landon. This Novella of Sydney’s is another great book in the Danvers’ series! You will love the story of Mia and Seth. Seth Jackson is an amazingly handsome billionaire who hires someone from Danvers to work on the latest project at Oceanix Resort. When Mia Gentry shows up sparks begin to fly between the two of them. Both thinking they have to keep this relationship on a business level, never expect Mia’s manipulative mother to buy a date with Seth for Mia at a charity auction! After many drinks, the evening turns into one amazing night for this couple!! You can only imagine what happens when they are expected to work together and not mix business with pleasure! WOW this is another spectacular book in true Landon style! If you have not read any of the Danvers’ series, you are really missing out. You will love this book and Sydney Landon’s writing style!!!
Wow! This book was hot from start to finish! It was cute, funny, hot, sexy, angsty, and endearing! A very fast read that took me about two hours to read. I could not put it down. Seth and Mia had amazing chemistry and was instantaneous. Oh momma were they hot!

This novella was a little different in the tone than the others in this Sydney Landon series. This series is wonderful and I have loved all the books in it so far (especially Suzy and Gray - who have a quick cameo in this!), but the overall feel for me in this book was sexy, sensual and hot! Loved it!
I'm a big fan of Sydney Landon's Danvers series and the only thing wrong with Betting on You is that it was a novella!

Seth Jackson is a man who doesn't like entanglements. He's good at his job, has more money than most know what to do with and is drop dead gorgeous. His life is moving along just as he likes it, leaving him totally unattached, until Mia Gentry comes along to install a security system.

For Mia, she has always been a tech geek that grew up with parents who wanted her to do anything but follow her passion due to their privileged background. She loves the job she has at Danvers International because it is something she got on her own, not on the merits of her family. She's smart, sassy and is instantly attracted to Seth.

After a crafty intervention due to a charity auction, Seth and Mia get to know one another better, not to mention the close confines they are working in on a day to day basis at Seth's hotel. After some complications arise for Mia at work, their budding connection has to take a backseat until the completion of the project.

Landon does a fantastic job of telling this story in such a way that you are gripped from the beginning and you don't want to put it down. As I said at the beginning of this review, I wish it had been longer, but what we did get, was a homerun in my opinion. I can't wait for Landon's next novel!
