I have had Driven on my to-read list for quite some time, and just kept putting off reading it. Boy do I regret that now! I am consumed with these characters. Driven is the first book I've read from K Bromberg, but it most definitely won't be my last.Rylee is our heroine, who works with children who are in the system. The passion she had for these boys was so beyond touching. Rylee is trying to move past a major tragedy that has happened to her, when she meets Colton, she is completely taken off guard. She doesn't want anything to do with him. But that quickly changes as he gets under her skin.
Colton comes with his own baggage that will tear at your heart. His past is something no child should have to endure. He remains closed off, not forming any deep or close relationships. He likes things superficial.
The chemistry between Colton and Rylee was something else. Make sure you have a tall glass of ice water while reading this story. I loved how Rylee kept trying to break down Colton's barriers, regardless of how much he pushed her away.
I can't say enough good things about this story. I listened to the audio version and the narrators were spot on. They did an A+ job, and really brought the story to life! Make sure you have book 2, Fueled, handy. You won't want to wait to dive in to continue Colton and Rylee's story!

I love this series. Now I read it twice.
And why is the re-reading? Because Passionflix made a TVseries based on this book/series. I couldn't help it, I signed up!
About the book In the beginning of the story there is no surprise. Colton is a sexy, rich and famous car racer, a real playboy. He didn't have a real relationship, he slept around and just had fun. I thought from the first time that he had problems with commitment because of his traumatized past. Until Rylee he got everything, every women. He didn't have to fight for someone. But Rylee was different, she said no to him, so he wanted her more. Later Rylee couldn't resist him either... This is stereotypical, isn't it? Yes, first it was but later the story became unique. And I loved it.
I became fond of Colton. First he was a typical @sshole, a bad guy. Every women wanted to tame him (me too P)I loved to read about how he was wooing Rylee, I loved their funny and sexy conversations.
Rylee went through awful things. I understood why she wanted to be careful because she knew that Colton could break her heart.
I think the two main character's spiritual word and past made the story more interesting, exciting and unique.
It's a really good erotic romance with lots of hot scenes!
About the TVseries I absolutely LOVE it! The movie was true to the books. They chose the actors perfectly, especially Colton's character. Casey Deidrick is perfect Colton! I loved him! Go, watch on Passionflix!

Driven was another case of it has been on my kindle for ages but just never read it until recently scenarios. I have read one of the spin off books and was kicking myself in the @$$ then for not having read the original three books because I loved the way Ms. Bromberg had me loving that book that I knew I would love the others as well. If you haven’t read the books yet please make sure you do and I apologize if anything in my review ends up being a spoiler because that is not my intent.
OMG what in the #$%^ was I thinking when I waited as long as I did to finally meet Colton Donavan. I swear I should have the title book whore stripped from me because of this, okay maybe nothing that extreme but I seriously cannot believe I only recently read about this sexy, at times annoying, makes you want to slap him one minute but kiss him the next man. I honestly think that is the exact way to describe him, that’s my opinion at least. I loved Rylee as well; she didn’t just roll over, spread her legs and give in without a fight. Did she have moments of weakness? Of course she did but she also wasn’t weak. She has gone through a lot of things and I felt for her, but she was loyal to those who were in her heart. She loved hard when she gave that love but also wouldn’t hesitate to take it away if you lost her loyalty.
Driven had me so engrossed into the story that my husband had to ask more than once if I planned on making dinner for him and my kids or if I had eaten myself. I just couldn’t pull myself away, and even though I knew I had the next book already waiting on my kindle when I got to the end you would have thought I had to wait months for the next book instead of seconds. I now understand why Colton Donavan is still one of the top book boyfriends of all time, and if you haven’t met him yet, let him take you for a ride starting with Driven, I promise you won’t want him to slow down ever.
After being a reader of K. Bromberg for almost three years, I had committed the ultimate sin I had never read the Driven series. My TBR was just a mess to navigate, but I got it together and went all in. And WOW. I knew this was Kristy's first book and to be honest, I prepared myself for it. But you honestly can't tell this is a first book. At all. It's so angsty and heartbreaking, full of depths of emotion that most authors need time to craft. Colton is a beautiful, tortured playboy who has a dark past that he keeps at bay with laps around the racetrack. Rylee is a smart, determined, caring woman who spends her time caring for younger boys just like Colton. When they meet, she is immediately turned off from Colton's arrogant and selfish nature. But once she sees him around her boys and who he is out of the spotlight, she grows to respect him. Keeping her at a safe distance from his own baggage, Colton struggles with his feelings for Rylee and is determined to keep her at arm's length. Over their time together, Colton and Rylee make leaps and bounds out of their respective heartaches and learn to move forward.
